Home-Start Northfield is a charity that offers support, friendship and practical help to parents with at least one child under 5.

Volunteers helping parents to raise happy, healthy, safe and successful children

Home-Start Northfield offers a unique service. We recruit and train volunteers, who are usually parents themselves, to visit families at home to offer informal, friendly and confidential support.

Home-Start Northfield's Family Group is an additional service that...

...offers a warm and friendly environment giving families the opportunity to socialise and relax with their children over a cuppa.

We provide a variety of play experiences, and a safe and stimulating environment for children to play and explore in. Help and support is on hand from staff and volunteers.

A variety of families attend our Family Group - families with new-borns, toddlers, preschool children, twins and multiple children under 5.

Our Family Group provides the opportunity to meet other local families who maybe in a similar situation and to be supported by people who care.

Once we have received your referral form and met you, attendance at Family Group and / or having a volunteer could be available to you.

The group runs every Friday during term time at Hampstead House from 10.30 to 12.30.

A BIG THANKYOU...

...to all who supported Diana with her parachute jump, which finally took place on 22nd October. Vital statistics of the jump were Free Fall exit at 12400ft, 41 seconds free fall at a speed of 137 mph!
